Pulau Weh, a small active volcanic island to the northwest of Sumatra Indonesia and is part of the Bandah Ache province, the surrounding reefs offered some great 'off the grid' diving. Our personal experience was that the diving is good, but not comparable with the best of Indonesia; such as Komodo National Park or Lembeh Strait.

Rubiah Island is a 5 minute boat ride from Iboih Beach of Weh Island. It is the place for sborkelling and diving enthusiasts. The boat rental: half day snorkelling trip is Rp. 350.000 and for the whole day is Rp. 600.000. It is official price. We pay in the locket and receive the bill accordingly.
